Boygenius trio Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus have shared a massive 82-song Spotify playlist, containing songs that inspired their debut album, The Record.
The playlist cuts across a diverse spectrum, weaving through indie, folk, and pop realms, while also delving into punk, hardcore, classic emo, folk punk, alternative, new wave, and post-punk territories.
The list features superstars such as Big Thief, Hop Along, Waxahatchee, HAIM, Land of Talk, Mitski, Band of Horses, The National, Wilco, Great Grandpa, Bon Iver & St. Vincent, Iron & Wine, Fugazi, Angel Du$t, Defiance, The Soft Boys, The Cars, and more.
The Record arrived with a bang earlier this year, debuting at No. 1 in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands and landing at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
