Don McLean Announces New Album 'American Boys'

Don McLean has announced that his next studio album, American Boys, will be released on May 17 by BFD/Audium Nashville and distributed through The Orchard.

The album is currently available for preorder along with the title track, which features Home Free.

Paying tribute to his rock and roll heroes, McLean's new single honors those who paved the way.

Featuring thirteen tracks, American Boys is described as "exactly what every Don McLean fan has been waiting for!"

"This is an album of all new songs," McLean said. "The title track, 'American Boys,' which features the guys from Home Free, is a fun song about the boys who invented rock and roll. America invented this music. Only America invented this music."

As part of a new distribution deal with BFD/Audium Nashville, sixteen of McLean's albums, which have been newly remastered, will be re-released. They include Prime Time, Chain Lightning, Believers, Greatest Hits Live!, Don McLean Sings Marty Robbins, and The Western Album.
