Predictive Oncology Inc. (POAI) has inked a collaboration with privately held FluGen to bring a first-of-its-kind intranasal flu vaccine to market, as part of a $6.2 million Phase 2B grant awarded by the United States Department of Defense.
POAI was up 38% at $1.95 in after-hours.
TransMedics Group Inc. (TMDX), a medical technology company, has reported strong first quarter results, demonstrating continued revenue growth, expanded its infrastructure, and achieved profitability. Total revenue for the first quarter of 2024 was $96.9 million, a 133% increase compared to $41.6 million in the first quarter of 2023.

The Federal Reserve policy session was in focus as it was the first to be led by the new chief Kevin Warsh. In Europe, central banks of the U.K. and Switzerland announced their rate decisions. In Asia, the Bank of Japan drew attention for its policy moves, while data out of China threw some light on the state of the economy.
