Buckle, Inc. (BKE), a specialty retailer, announced on Thursday that its comparable store net sales for May decreased 7.6 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Net sales for the 4-week period ended on June 1, decreased by 8.2 percent to $82 million from last year's $89.3 million.
Comparable store net sales for the 17-week period decreased 8.6 percent from the same period a year ago.
Net sales for the 17-week period dropped by 7.4 percent to $344.5 million, compared with $372.1 million in 2023.
