Kongsberg Automotive (KGAUF.PK) or KA, a Norwegian automobile company, said on Monday that it has bagged a five-year contract of over 55 million euros for its Dog Clutch Actuator or DCA.
The production for the contract will begin in 2025 with Kongsberg's Wuxi plants that will produce and supply the product to a Chinese original equipment manufacturer for electric commercial vehicle market.
"DCA, developed by KA, is designed for gear-shifting and de-coupling applications for multi-speed transmissions, either electric axles or central drive for hybrid, battery electric, and fuel cell vehicle applications, ranging from passenger cars to heavy duty commercial vehicles," the company said in a statement.
