Origin Enterprises plc (OGN.L), an Agri-Services group, Thursday reported revenue of 669.1 million euros for the third quarter, 9.8 percent lower than 741.5 million euros in the same quarter a year ago.
"Adverse weather and challenging in-field conditions continued into the early part of Q3, resulting in a reduced spring cropping area in the UK, and delayed applications across Ireland, the UK and Europe," the company said in a statement.
For the year-to-date period, revenue declined 20.7 percent to 1.524 billion euros from 1.921 billion euros last year. Looking forward, Origin Enterprises expects full-year adjusted earnings per share to be in the range of 45 cents to 48 cents.
