Will Revita Help Fractyl Health Bounce Back?

Fractyl Health Inc. (GUTS) that went public as recently as February this year is currently trading around $3, a significant decline of over 75% from its initial public offering price.

The Lexington, Massachusetts-based Fractyl Health is a metabolic therapeutics company developing treatments for metabolic diseases, including Type 2 Diabetes, or T2D, and obesity.

The company's lead product candidate is Revita DMR System, or Revita, an outpatient procedural therapy designed to durably modify duodenal dysfunction, a major pathologic consequence of a high fat and high sugar diet, which can initiate T2D and obesity in humans.
