Alfa Financial Software Holdings PLC (ALFA.L), a developer of software for the asset finance industry, Thursday reported profit before tax of 16.1 million pounds for the first half, lower than 16.6 million pounds in the comparable period a year ago.
Operating profit declined 4 percent to 16.2 million pounds from 16.9 million pounds last year.
Net profit decreased to 11.9 million pounds or 4p per share from 13.3 million pounds or 4.45p per share a year ago.
Revenue for the period dropped 1 percent to 52.3 million pounds from 52.9 million pounds in the previous year.
Subscription revenue increased 18 percent to 18.1 million pounds, while software revenue declined 33 percent to 6 million pounds.
On September 4, the Board declared a special dividend of 4.2 pence per share, to be paid on November 8, to shareholders of record on September 27.
