AFC Energy Plc (AFC.L), a British renewable energy company, said on Thursday that it has appointed John Wilson as its new Chief Executive Officer with effect from January 6, 2025, in place of Adam Bond whose resignation was announced in July this year.
Wilson joins AFC Energy from Bulgin Ltd, a private equity-backed connectivity solutions developer, where he has held the position of CEO. Prior to this, he was CEO of Elektron Technology Plc for nearly a decade.
To ensure a smooth transition, Gary Bullard, Chairman of AFC Energy, will take on the role of CEO on an interim basis, effective immediately, the company said in a statement.
