Superstar rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, announced a new album, Bully, during a listening event at China's Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou on Saturday, September 28.
Kanye also debuted a new song, "Beauty and the Beast," during the listening event.
"I got a new album coming out," Ye told the crowd toward the end of his performance. "The album's called 'Bully' and this song is called 'Beauty and the Beast.'"
"I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience/ Don't take this disrespect, I'm sitting here trying to redirect," he sings in the new song.
Longtime West collaborator Mike Dean posted an Instagram comment stating that "Beauty and the Beast" was a "Donda leftover," indicating it was intended for his 2021 album.
The new album follows his two Vultures releases earlier this year. Vultures 1 was delayed months before finally dropping on February 10. The second Vultures project was initially scheduled for a March 8 release but was pushed until August 3.
