UK construction group Galliford Try Holdings plc (GFRD.L) reported Thursday that its fiscal 2024 profit before tax surged 206 percent to 30.9 million pounds from 10.1 million pounds last year.
Earnings per share soared 316 percent to 36.2 pence from 8.7 pence a year ago.
Pre-exceptional profit before tax was 32.7 million pounds, compared to 23.4 million pounds in the prior year. Pre-exceptional earnings per share were 27.9 pence, compared to 18.9 pence a year ago.
Revenue for the year climbed 27.2 percent to 1.77 billion pounds from prior year's 1.39 billion pounds.
Further, the company announced final dividend payment of 11.5p, up from last year's 7.5p. This gives a total dividend for the financial year of 15.5p, up 47.6 percent.
Looking ahead, Galliford Try said it is confident in the outlook for the current financial year, with 92 percent of FY25 revenue already secured.
