Endeavour Mining plc (EDVMF.PK) Thursday reported net loss from continuing operations of $95 million or $0.39 per share for the third quarter compared with net earnings of $60 million or $0.24 per share in the same quarter a year ago.
Excluding one-time items, the company posted earnings of $74 million or $0.30 per share, higher than $69 million or $0.28 per share last year.
Earnings from operations decreased to $79 million from $141 million a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter, however, grew to $706 million from $530 million in the previous year.
The company's gold production declined to 270 koz from 281 koz last year, while gold sold increased to 280 koz from 278 koz a year ago.
Looking ahead, group production is expected to be near the low end of its guidance of 1,130 koz - 1,270 koz.
