Assura Plc (AGR.L), a real estate investment trust, Thursday reported profit before taxation of 77.1 million pounds for the first half, compared with loss before tax of 17.8 million pounds in the same period a year ago, primarily helped by revaluation gain on property.
The company recorded a revaluation gain on property of 25.4 million pounds for the latest 6-month period, compared with a loss of 68.6 million pounds last year.
Net profit was 77.1 million pounds or 2.5p per share compared with net loss of 17.8 million pounds or 0.6p per share a year ago.
EPRA profit was 52.7 million pounds or 1.7p per share compared with 50.8 million pounds or 1.7p per share last year.
Net rental income for the period grew 8.3 percent to 76.7 million pounds from 70.8 million pounds in the previous year.
