Optical Cable Corporation (OCC) reported fourth quarter net income of $373 thousand, or $0.05 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.3 million, or $0.17 per share, a year ago. Gross profit increased 68.6% to $6.5 million.
Consolidated net sales for the fourth quarter increased 12.4% to $19.5 million, compared to $17.3 million for the same period in the prior year. The company said it experienced increases in net sales in both its enterprise and specialty markets.
The company believes opportunities to improve net sales will continue during fiscal 2025, compared to fiscal 2024.
Shares of Optical Cable are up 24% in pre-market trade on Monday.
