Rebound Anticipated For Japan Stock Market

The Japanese stock market on Friday snapped the three-day winning streak in which it had picked up nearly 1,250 points or 3 percent. The Nikkei 225 now rests just beneath the 39,900-point plateau although it's expected to bounce higher again on Monday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat, with support expected from the technology and oil stocks, in particular. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were up and the Asian markets are tipped to follow the latter lead.

In Asia, the monetary policy session of the Indian central bank was in focus as the country, a major oil importer, reels under the pressures of a weaker rupee and rising inflation.
