Sasol Ltd (SSL), a chemicals and energy company, Thursday reported external chemicals revenue of $1.639 billion for the first half, 1 percent higher than the previous year.
In the mining sector, saleable production was 15 mm tons for the first half, compared with 15.1 mm tons in the same period a year ago.
Natural gas production rose to 61.6 bscf from 60.5 bscf last year.
However, fuels production as well as chemicals production decreased to 1622 kt and 1372 kt from 1768 kt and 1395 kt respectively.
For fiscal 2025, the company continues to expect saleable production to be between 30 and 32 mm tons.
