Compass Minerals International, Inc. (CMP), Tuesday announced that its Chief Financial Officer Jeff Cathey has decided to step down from the position due to personal reasons. Cathey will be succeeded by Peter Fjellman, effective immediately.
Prior to this, Fjellman served as senior vice president of finance, Americas and Asia Pacific for GXO Logistics (GXO).
Meanwhile, the company appointed Patrick Merrin as chief operations officer, effective March 3. He had worked as Executive Vice President of technical services at Lundin Mining Corp.(LUN.TO).
In the pre-market hours, Compass Minerals' stock is trading at $12.89, up 2.71 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
