Ryan Specialty Holdings, Inc. (RYAN), an Illinois-based specialty insurance services company Monday announced the completion of its acquisition of Velocity Risk Underwriters, LLC from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.
Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Velocity is a leading managing general underwriter offering first-party insurance for catastrophe-exposed properties and will join Ryan Specialty's Underwriting Managers division. This acquisition was initially announced on January 7, 2025.
Monday, RYAN closed at $67.45, up 1.31%, and after market hours, it rose to $68.97, a 2.25% increase, on the New York Stock Exchange.
