Graham Holdings Company (GHC) released a profit for its fourth quarter that increased from last year

The company's bottom line totaled $548.8 million, or $125.55 per share. This compares with $53.3 million, or $11.72 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Graham Holdings Company reported adjusted earnings of $98.7 million or $22.58 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the period rose 6.8% to $1.246 billion from $1.167 billion last year.
