Sunnova Energy International (NOVA) announced that Paul Mathews, formerly Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mathews succeeds William J. Berger, who is stepping down as Chairman, President and CEO. Berger will remain as an advisor. Mathews joins the Sunnova Board, and Park Shaper has been named as Chair of the Board.
Prior to Sunnova, Mathews spent nearly two decades serving in a variety of leadership roles at UPS, including President of U.S. Industrial Engineering and President of Engineering - Strategy and Planning.
