Shares of Okta, Inc. (OKTA) gained over 5% on Tuesday morning on the news that the company is set to join S&P MidCap 400.
OKTA is currently trading at $110.57, up $5.78 or 5.51%, on the Nasdaq. The stock opened its trading at $109.60 after closing Monday at $104.79. The stock has traded between $70.56 and $118.07 in the past 52-week period.
Okta will replace Berry Global Group in the S&P MidCap 400 effective prior to the opening of trading on Thursday, May 1. S&P 500 constituent Amcor plc (AMCR) is acquiring Berry Global Group in a deal expected to close soon, pending final closing conditions.
