ELMOS Semiconductor AG (EMOMF.PK) announced a profit for first quarter that decreased from last year

The company's bottom line came in at EUR18.546 million, or EUR1.08 per share. This compares with EUR24.571 million, or EUR1.44 per share, last year.

The company's revenue for the period fell 7.3% to EUR126.880 million from EUR136.803 million last year.

Commenting on the first-quarter results, Arne Schneider, CEO of Elmos Semiconductor, said: “Sales and earnings were impacted by lower order volumes from our customers and were in line with our expectations. Our program to optimize personnel and material costs will deliver its results over the year. Structurally, the automotive semiconductor market continues to offer high growth opportunities for innovative and agile companies such as Elmos due to the increased use of intelligent electronics and software functions in modern vehicles.”

Looking ahead, for fiscal 2025, Elmos has reaffirmed its outlook. The company still expects sales of EUR 580 million, ± EUR30 million and an EBIT margin of 23 percent ± 3 percentage points of sales.
