Helios Towers PLC (HTWSF), a telecommunications tower company, Thursday reported revenue of $203.8 million for the first quarter, 5% higher than $194.6 million in the comparable quarter a last year, primarily helped by growth in tenancies.
Tenancies increased 9% to 30,074 from 27,686 a year ago.
Adjusted EBITDA, or adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization grew 9% year-on-year to $111.1 million.
Operating profit was $76.6 million, up 14% from $67.3 million in the prior year.
For the full year, the company has reaffirmed its adjusted EBITDA outlook of $460 million - $470 million.
