Grafton Group plc (GFTU.L), a building materials distributor and DIY retailer, Thursday issued trading update for the period from January 1, 2025 to April 27. The company also reiterated its full-year outlook.
Revenue for the period increased 7.8% to 773.1 million pounds from 717.3 million pounds a year ago.
Group average daily like-for-like revenue for the period was 2.7 per cent higher than in the same period last year.
"After a relatively subdued start to the year, and with the more material trading period lying ahead, we were pleased that our performance in the period was in line with our expectations, and we remain on track for the full year," said Eric Born, Chief Executive Officer of Grafton.
