Covid-vaccine maker, Novavax Inc. (NVAX) reported a massive revenue jump and swung to profitability in the first quarter of 2025, supported by strategic partnerships, licensing deals, and cost controls.
Q1, 2025 Performance:
Novavax recorded total revenue of $667 million in Q1 2025, a significant increase from $94 million in the same period last year.
This spike was primarily driven by $603 million in revenue recognition from the termination of two Advance Purchase Agreements or APAs, along with $45 million in licensing and royalty income, including $40 million from its ongoing collaboration with Sanofi.
