Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (GJF.OL) on Tuesday said that the Boards of Gjensidige and its wholly-owned subsidiary Buysure AS, respectively, have approved their merger as announced earlier. The merger will be completed on or around July 1, the company added.
In April, the Board of Norwegian insurance company Gjensidige, had approved a merger plan with Buysure. Earlier that month, Gjensidige has completed the acquisition of Buysure AS, including its subsidiary, Claims Handling AS. The transaction was valued at around NOK 430 million.
Buysure AS offers home buyer and home seller insurance through a wide range of real estate agents in Norway.
On the Oslo Exchange, GJF.OL ended Monday's trade at NOK 247.40, down 2 percent.
