Infosys (INFY) Thursday has announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Norway's largest financial institution, DNB Bank ASA, aiming to advance the bank's digital transformation journey.

This collaboration will utilize Infosys' platforms and services, including the Infosys Finacle platform, to enhance IT resilience, modernize legacy systems, and deliver a more agile and personalized customer experience.

As part of the initiative, Infosys will support DNB in overhauling its existing systems across key functions, introducing phased modernization strategies. This approach is designed to proactively minimize service disruptions and mitigate risks, while aligning with DNB's broader strategic goals. The partnership will enable DNB to offer more tailored lending solutions and improved service delivery.

According to DNB's COO Elin Sandnes, the bank's commitment to digital innovation is central to its strategy of delivering superior customer experiences. The partnership with Infosys, she noted, will allow DNB to integrate advanced technologies such as AI and ML, positioning the bank to meet evolving customer expectations.

Infosys Executive VP Dennis Gada emphasized the company's role as a strategic partner, highlighting its expertise in large-scale IT transformations and its goal of supporting innovation and growth for DNB. He underscored the importance of the Nordic market, where Infosys has recently deepened its presence through acquisitions and regional hubs.

This strengthened collaboration not only reinforces Infosys' leadership in the financial services sector but also signals its commitment to supporting business transformations across the Nordic region.

Thursday, INFY closed at $18.72, up 1.41%, and is currently trading at $18.60 in after-hours, down 0.64% on the NYSE.
