Accenture Stock Drops 7% Following Leadership And Growth Model Changes

Accenture plc (ACN) is trading at $284.33, down 7.20 percent, or $22.05 on Friday, after announcing changes to its growth model and leadership, effective September 1, 2025. The company emphasized its continued strategy to be the reinvention partner of choice for clients, with a focus on leading in generative AI through multi-service solutions and technology ecosystem partnerships.

The stock opened at $281.43 and has traded between $273.19 and $288.82 so far today on the New York Stock Exchange. Volume has reached 6.11 million shares, well above the average of 3.37 million. The 52-week range is $273.19 to $398.35.
