LeAnn Rimes has revealed that her fake teeth fell out in the middle of her performance in Washington last weekend.
In a video posted on Instagram, the 42-year-old artist shared with her fans "the most epic example of how the show must go on."
"Last night, I was on stage in the middle of 'One Way Ticket' [and] I feel something pop in my mouth," she said. "If you've been around, you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front and it fell out in the middle of my song."
LeAnn explained how she struggled to complete the rest of her show with the dislocated set of teeth.
"I panicked and in the middle said, 'Hold on,' and ran to the side of the stage and popped it back in, and then just went on singing," she said.
"I had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage," LeAnn added.
She said she was forced to push her teeth back into her mouth many times in order to sing.
The most difficult part was when singing the song, "Can't Fight the Moonlight."
"'Can't Fight the Moonlight,' they completely fell out of my mouth," Rimes said. "It was the most epic experience ever. I don't usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last."
The Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actress has joined as a mega mentor in the latest season of "The Voice."
