Begbies Traynor FY Profit Before Tax Rises

Begbies Traynor Group plc (BEG.L) reported statutory profit before tax of 11.5 million pounds for the year ended 30 April 2025 compared to 5.8 million pounds, prior year. Earnings per share was 3.8 pence compared to 0.9 pence. Adjusted EBITDA increased by 11% to 31.7 million pounds. Adjusted profit before tax increased by 7% to 23.5 million pounds. Adjusted earnings per share increased by 6% to 10.5 pence from 9.9 pence. Group revenue in the year increased by 12% to 153.7 million pounds, 10% of which was organic.

The board recommended an 8% increase in the total dividend for the year to 4.3 pence. This comprises the interim dividend already paid of 1.4 pence and a proposed final dividend of 2.9 pence.
