DOF Denmark A/S, a wholly-owned subsidiary of supply shipping company DOF Group ASA (DOFG.OL), said on Friday that it had signed definitive agreements for the sale of two anchor handling tug supply or AHTS vessels. The sale of Skandi Tender (built in 2009) and Skandi Trader (built in 2008) have been made to an undisclosed international buyer.

The company said that the transaction is line with its ongoing strategy to optimize its fleet and improve its financial position.

According to DOF Denmark, the sale of Skandi Trader remains subject to the buyer's satisfactory completion of a pre-delivery inspection, while the transfer of Skandi Tender is unconditional. Both vessels are expected to be delivered to the new owner in September.

Upon completion, the transaction will contribute positively to the Group's liquidity and support its long-term fleet renewal initiatives, the company added.

On the Oslo Stock Exchange, DOFG.OL is up 1 percent on Friday's trading at NOK 91.90.
