Thyssenkrupp Nucera AG & Co. KGaA (THYKF), a provider of electrolysis technologies, Tuesday said it expects earnings before interest and taxes or EBIT to be at breakeven for the third quarter, lower than 2 million euros reported in the same quarter a year ago.
Sales for the quarter are expected to be 184 million euros, down from 237 million euros recorded last year.
For the full year, thyssenkrupp has increased its EBIT outlook. It currently sees EBIT to range between 7 million euros loss and 7 million euros profit, up from the previous guidance of 30 million euros loss - 5 million euros profit.
Sales for the year are now expected between 850 million euros and 920 million euros compared with the earlier outlook of 850 million euros - 950 million euros.
