Banking service provider Bankinter, S.A. (BKT.MC), on Thursday announced a 14.4 percent increase in second-quarter net income compared to the same period last year.
Pre-tax profit increased to 765.6 million euros, a 7% rise from the previous year.
Net income was 541.7 million euros, a 14.4% increase year on year.
Net interest income declined to 1,101 million euros, a 5.1% decrease year on year.
Operating income grew to 958 million euros, an increase of 3% year on year.
Net fee and commission income climbed to 380 million euros, an 11.2% year-on-year growth.
Currently, shares of Bankinter are at $1243, down $0.84 or 7.20%
