Ams OSRAM Sells Entertainment And Industry Lamps Business To Ushio For EUR 114 Mln

Austria-headquartered ams-OSRAM AG (AMS.SW), a global provider of innovative light and sensor solutions on Tuesday announced the signing of an agreement with Japan-headquartered Ushio Inc. (UHOIF), a global leader in the field of optical technologies for the sale of its Entertainment and Industry Lamps business.

The purchase price of 114 million euros is on a cash-and-debt-free basis. Net deal proceeds would be determined upon final closing accounts at date of closing.

The deal is the first divestment under the company's deleveraging plan where proceeds well above 500 million euros are targeted.

The transaction is expected to close until end of March 2026.
