Germany-headquartered Hensoldt AG (HAG.DE) engaged in defense business on Thursday reported growth in revenue in the first half of 2025. The loss position however increased during the period.

Loss for the half-year stood at 44 million euros or 0.36 euro per share as compared with a loss of 26 million euros or 0.21 euro per share in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The increase in loss is primarily attributable to expenses linked to loan repayments as part of the refinancing agreement concluded in April 2025.

Revenue for the first half increased 11.2 percent to 944 million euros from 849 million euros in the prior-year period.

The company expects a strong revenue growth for fiscal 2025 due to the continued high order backlog. A strongly increasing adjusted EBITDA is also expected for fiscal year 2025.
