Ascom Holding AG (ASCN.SW) Wednesday reported net profit of CHF 2.2 million for the first half, lower than CHF 2.9 million in the same period a year ago, primarily due to unrealized FX losses on intercompany loans.
Earnings before interest and taxes or EBIT increased to CHF 5 million from CHF 4 million last year.
EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization was CHF 12.1 million, up 15.2% from CHF 10.5 million a year ago.
Revenue for the period declined 1.5% to CHF 140 million from CHF 142.1 million in the previous year.
For the full year, the company expects a low single digit revenue growth at constant currencies.
