Exasol AG (EXL.DE), a provider of analytics engine, Tuesday reported EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of 2 million euros for the first half, higher than 0.7 million euros in the same period a year ago, driven by growth in hardware and services revenue with existing customers.
Revenue increased 10.8% to 21.5 million euros from 19.4 million euros last year.
Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), however, declined 2.8% to 38.7 million euros from 39.8 million euros in the prior year, mainly due to the ramp-down of business in non-focus industries.
ARR in focus industries rose 28% to 26.6 million euros.
Looking ahead, the company has confirmed its full-year outlook. It expects ARR and revenue to grow in mid-single-digit percentage range. EBITDA is expected to increase at least 50% to between 3 million euros and 4 million euros.
