MIRAIT ONE Corporation (MRHLF) Tuesday reported profit before tax of 1.22 billion yen for the first quarter, lower than 2.652 billion yen in the same quarter a year ago, primarily due to higher expenses as well as one-time losses.
Operating profit declined to 1.027 billion yen from 1.493 billion yen in the prior year.
The company posted net loss of 1.311 billion yen or 14.64 yen per share compared with net profit of 744 million yen or 8.13 yen per share last year.
Sales for the quarter, however, grew 3.4% to 121.374 billion yen from 117.338 billion yen in the previous year.
For the full year, the company expects net sales to increase 7.2% year-on-year to 620 billion yen. Net profit is expected rise 22.2% to 21 billion yen with EPS of 236.73 yen.
