Springer Nature AG & Co. KGaA(SPG.DE) raised its guidance for the 2025 fiscal year, reflecting its strong performance year to date.

In the first six months of 2025, revenue increased to 926 million euros and adjusted operating profit to 241 million euros, representing underlying growth of 6% and 10% respectively.

For 2025, the company now expects underlying Group revenue to be in the range of 1.930 billion euros to 1.960 billion euros, previously in the upper half of the range of 1.885 billion euros to 1.935 billion euros. Underlying adjusted operating profit is expected to be in the range of 540 million euros to 560 million euros, previously in the upper half of the range of 523 million euros to 546 million euros.

The upward revision is driven by the strong development in the Research segment, where nearly all 2025 contract renewals have been completed and continued high submission volumes, particularly in Full Open Access journals, are driving above-market publication growth. The Health and Education segments continue to perform in line with their respective markets, and supporting the overall Group performance.

The company said it will release its results for the first half-year 2025 on August 13, 2025.
