Zealand Pharma A/S (ZEAL.CO) Thursday reported revenue of DKK 9.096 billion for the first half, mainly from the deal it entered into with Roche earlier this year.
In May this year, Zealand Pharma had received an upfront payment of $1.4 billion upon closing the deal, which is worth up to $5.3 billion. The companies have partnered to co-develop and co-commercialize Zealand Pharma's lead drug candidate petrelintide for weight management.
In the year-ago period, the company recorded revenue of DKK 49 million.
Operating result was DKK 8.128 billion compared with a loss of DKK 524 million.
As on June 30, The company's cash position stood at DKK 16.578 billion, up from DKK 9.022 billion on December 31, 2024.
