Lea Bank AB Reports Higher Q-on-q Profits In Q2

Sweden-headquartered Lea Bank AB (LEA.ST) on Thursday reported higher income and profits sequentially in the second quarter of 2025.

Profit before tax for the second quarter was SEK 33.8 million versus SEK 27.7 million in the immediately preceding quarter.

Net profit for the period stood at SEK 28.3 million or SEK 0.27 per share as compared with SEK 21.1 million or SEK 0.20 per share in the first quarter of 2025.

Net interest income for the second quarter of 2025 stood at SEK 147.2 million as compared with SEK 136.7 million in the first quarter of 2025.

CET ratio declined to 16.3 percent at the end of the second quarter from 17.3 percent at the end of the first quarter.

Credit loss level declined to 3.4 percent at the end of the second quarter from 3.7 percent at the end of the first quarter.

On January 2, 2025, Lea bank ASA had merged into Lea Bank AB, after which Lea Bank ASA was dissolved.
