Odfjell Drilling AS (ODL.OL) Tuesday reported profit before taxes of $46 million for the second quarter, higher than $19.7 million in the same quarter a year ago, primarily helped by growth in revenue in the Own Fleet segment.
Operating profit rose to $62.1 million from $42.4 million in the prior year.
Net profit increased to $41.7 million or $0.17 per share from $16.4 million or $0.07 per share last year.
Revenue for the quarter grew to $218.9 million from $191.3 million in the previous year.
The company has declared a quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share, up from 16 cents last year, to be paid on September 17, to shareholders of record on September 4.
