HAV Group ASA (HAV.OL) Tuesday said its energy design and smart control systems business has received a contract from Tersan Shipyard to supply three Raven integrated navigation systems (INS).

The company noted that the contract value for such a delivery is typically between NOK 10 million and NOK 15 million.

Raven INS, developed by Norwegian Electric Systems AS (NES), a unit of HAV Group, combines radar, electronic chart display and information system, autopilot/ trackpilot, alarms, and relevant sensor data into a single common user interface on the bridge. INS helps navigators to get control and situational awareness on the same screens, regardless of the bridge layout.

"Securing a stand-alone bridge system sale is an important milestone for us and in line with the strategy we have pursued for some time," said Siv Remøy-Vangen, CEO of HAV Group's energy design and smart control systems business.
