British technology company Computacenter Plc (CCC.L) Wednesday announced the appointment of Keith Mortimer as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, with effect from September 1. The company added that Mortimer's appointment follows a comprehensive internal and external search process.
According to the company, Mortimer joined Computacenter in 1999 and has held senior finance and commercial roles, most recently as Director of Group Commercial Finance. He is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Arthur Andersen in London.
Commenting on the appointment, Mike Norris, Chief Executive Officer, said, "I look forward to working even more closely with Keith, as he takes up the position of Chief Financial Officer. His detailed knowledge of the business from end to end will be invaluable in helping us achieve our growth ambitions for the business, particularly as we continue to make significant investment in our systems, tools and processes to enhance both our operating efficiency and the customer experience".
Earlier, in December 2024, Computacenter had said that the then Chief Financial Officer, Christian Jehle, had stepped down with immediate effect following a mutual deal and he will continue as an employee until year-end.
