Sonic Healthcare FY25 Profit Rises; Expects Strong FY26 Earnings Growth

Sonic Healthcare Limited (SHL.AX,SKHCF.PK), an Australian provider of laboratory, pathology, and radiology services, reported that its net profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended 30 June 2025 rose to A$513.60 million from A$511.09 million in the prior year. On a per share basis, net income was 106.7 cents compared to 107.2 cents last year.

Earnings per share before gain related to sale of West division for the year increased to 106.7 cents from 100.4 cents in the prior year.

Total revenues for the year rose to A$9.65 billion from A$9.00 billion last year.

The company declared a final dividend of 63 cents per share, unchanged from 2024. The dividend will be paid on 18 September 2025, with a record date of 4 September 2025.

The company expects strong fiscal year 2026 earnings growth driven by organic growth, Swiss and German synergies, LADR acquisition and US initiatives. The company projects annual earnings per share growth of up to about 19% at current exchange rates.
