Goodman Group Reports Annual Net Profit As Revenue Climbs; Expects 2026 Operating Profit To Rise

Goodman Group (GMGSF.PK), an Australian commercial and industrial property company, on Thursday reported a net profit for the full year, helped by improved revenue and a gain from the share of net results of equity accounted investments.

For the 12-month period to June 30, the Group posted a net profit of A$1.666 billion, or 84.4 cents per security, compared with a loss of A$98.9 million, or 5.2 cents per security, in the same period last year.

Operating profit was A$2.311 billion, higher than the prior year's A$2.049 billion. Operating income per security moved up to 118 cents from 107.5 cents per security a year ago. Net tangible assets per security were A$11.03 as against A$8.80 per security last year.

Profit before income tax stood at A$1.844 billion as against a loss of A$57 million a year ago. Share of net results of equity accounted investments was positive A$1.098 billion, compared with negative A$796.7 million in 2024.

Revenue was A$2.311 billion, up from the previous year's A$1.983 billion. Development income increased to A$1.495 billion from A$1.196 billion last year.

The Group's distribution for fiscal 2025 was again maintained at 30 cents per security, of which 15 cents per security will be paid on August 26. The company had paid 15 cents per security on February 25.

Looking ahead, for fiscal 2026, Goodman Group, said: "The Group's global opportunities and strong capital position should support future growth which is targeted to deliver operating EPS growth of 9.0% for FY26. This equates to over $2.6 billion of operating profit."
