Implenia AG (IMPN.SW), a Swiss construction and real estate company, Monday announced that it has secured several new building construction contracts in Germany worth more than 200 million euros.
The company said that in Munich, Rock Capital Group has appointed Implenia as general contractor for the transformation of a former commercial site on Nymphenburger Strasse into a high-quality office district. The project includes new buildings, modernization of historic structures, additional floors, and preservation of a listed façade, with the aim of achieving LEED Core & Shell Platinum certification.
The construction will begin by the end of 2025, with phased completion to be done from 2027, it added.
Implenia said that as part of a joint venture with GP Papenburg, it will also deliver a new turnkey office building in Brandenburg. Other projects include a large comprehensive school in the Ruhr region, a six-field sports hall in Frankfurt am Main for two relocated grammar schools, and the Rheinwiesen living residential project at the Zollhafen site in Mainz.
According to the company, the other construction contracts include a residential complex for the elderly in Magdeburg and an exhibition and sales building for the Stark Group in Nuremberg.
