W.A.G Payment Solutions H1 Results Up; Backs FY25 Outlook

W.A.G Payment Solutions Plc (WPS.L) on Thursday revealed higher profit in the first six months of 2025, helped by increased net revenue growth and strong cash generation. The company also reaffirmed its outlook for the year ahead.

The integrated payments and mobility platform posted first-half profit of 10.6 million euros or 1.52 euros per share, higher than 2.5 million euros or 0.35 euro per share in the same period last year.

On an adjusted basis, profit was 20.2 million euros or 2.91 euros per share during the period, compared to 17.4 million euros or 2.50 euros per share in the year-ago period.

Pre-tax profit for the period climbed to 15.7 million euros from 4.2 million euros a year ago. Adjusted pre-tax profit was 27.7 million euros in the first half of the year, compared to 21.6 million euros in the previous-year period.

According to W.A.G Payment Solutions, half-yearly net revenues rose 15 percent to 162.2 million euros from 141.0 million euros in the corresponding quarter of 2024.

The company said that EBITDA for the first six months was 61.2 million euros, higher than 52.0 million euros recorded in the year-ago period.

Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2025 outlook of low-teen net revenue growth and adjusted EBITDA margins to be in-line with fiscal 2024 figures.
