Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. (SIELF,2727.HK), a Chinese maker of power generation and electrical equipment, on Tuesday reported a rise in net profit and revenue for the first half.
For the six-month period to June 30, the company's net income moved up by 7.3% from the prior year's RMB 602 million. The Group reported revenue of RMB 54.303 billion, up 8.9% from the previous year.
The Energy equipment segment generated operating revenue of RMB 30.116 billion, up 22.2% year-on-year. The Industrial equipment segment posted revenue of RMB 18.598 billion, largely flat compared with the same period last year.
