InflaRx N.V. (IFRX) is being closely watched as it approaches a key moment in its clinical development timeline. The company is preparing to release Phase 2a data for its oral C5a receptor inhibitor, INF904, in two chronic inflammatory conditions, chronic spontaneous urticaria/CSU and hidradenitis suppurativa/HS. The top-line results from this basket study are expected between the end of September and early November 2025 and could play a significant role in shaping the program's future.
INF904 is designed to block the C5a receptor, a key driver of inflammation in several autoimmune and dermatological disorders. The ongoing Phase 2a trial includes 75 participants, 45 with CSU and 30 with HS, who are receiving treatment over four weeks. The study is evaluating multiple dosing regimens and aims to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, and early signs of clinical benefit. Notably, the CSU cohort includes a subgroup of highly refractory patients with the Type IIb phenotype, which may provide insights into INF904's potential in harder-to-treat populations.
